Micheal morpurgo is a talented auther and has written a great range of books for teenagers and pre teens. these include "why the whales came" "the wreck of zanzibar" which i truly recommend and also "my friend Walter" but i personally find his book "Private Peaceful" the best of his books as it is suitable for all ages.
