As far as I can tell, it looks a lot like Obama did not care about pulling the wool over people's eyes for personal gain. It is hard to tell, and that is problematic with many Americans who think their President's history should be open to all.

His actual name was always Barack. He went by Barry when he was in school, probably because it caused less comment and was easier to spell. It may have been what his grandmother called him.

The President, Barack Hussein Obama, II, was named after his father, Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. Hussein was a traditional family name passed down to him.
