Saul wants someone to fight Goliath. So he challenged that whoever kills the gaint, Saul daughter will be given for the marriage. thus DAVID killed Goliath so he married sauls daughter
King Saul was jealous of David, but Saul offered his daughter, Michal to David as a wife. David said he was too poor to give a dowry to Saul for his daughter, but Saul said he wanted no dowry, but wanted David to avenge him (Saul) upon the Philistines by bringing 100 foreskins of the enemy back to him. But Saul's motive was not what he said, but rather he wanted David to engage in battle with the Philistines in hopes that David would be killed.
Technically yes. Saul was trying to marry one of his daughters to David so he could somehow have an advantage over him and somehow that would make the Philistines kill him... (there is no clear reason). David turned down Saul's first daughter, Merab, after he tried to arrange a marriage for them. Saul then figured out that Michal was in LOVE with David, and again tried to have them married. David turned him down again, but Saul wasn't going to give up so easily. He was still trying to get David killed by the Philistines, so he said that David could marry Michal if he could get the foreskins (please don't ask what that is) of a hundred Philistines. So David was finally satisfied with this (an issue with pride and humbleness) and did just that. Only he killed 200 Philistines and brought back 200 foreskins to Saul (yummy). Then David and Michal were married. It said David married Michal to become the king's (Saul's) son-in-law, but it also mentions how much Michal loved David. 1 Samuel 18:27-28 David and his men went out and killed two hundred Philistines. He brought their foreskins and presented the full number to the king so that he might become the king's son-in-law. Then Saul gave him his daughter Michal in marriage. When Saul realized that the LORD was with David and that his daughter Michal loved David," So yeah it was prearranged. Though I feel as though Michal may have asked to marry David after he turned down Merab.
Yes we read that Jonathan and David were best of friends.
1 Samuel 17:25 Now the Israelites had been saying, "Do you see how this man (Goliath) keeps coming out? He comes out to defy Israel. The king (Saul) will give great wealth to the man who kills him (Goliath). He will also give him his daughter in marriage and will exempt his father's family from taxes in Israel."
Saul didn't want David to go because he young and, in Saul's mind, inexperienced. In 1 Samuel 17:33 Saul says, "You are not able to go out against this Philistine and fight him; you are only a young man, and he has been a warrior from his youth."
She can, if a prince wants to marry her. (He might have to give up the throne to marry her.)
He put David over the 'men of war' (1 Samuel 18:5)

David spared Saul's life because Saul was God's anointed king. David believed it was not his place to harm Saul, as he respected him as the chosen ruler of Israel. Despite Saul's persecution of David, David chose to trust in God's timing and plan for justice.
"But Saul had given his daughter Michal, David's wife, to Palti the son of Layish, who was from Gallim." (1 Sam 25:44) "Then David sent messengers to Ish-bosheth, Saul's son, saying: "Give me my wife Michal, to whom I became engaged for 100 foreskins of the Philistines." So Ish-bosheth sent to take her from her husband, Paltiel the son of Laish. But her husband kept walking with her, weeping as he followed her as far as Bahurim. Then Abner said to him: "Go, return!" At that he returned." (2 Sam 3:14-16)
