The original idea for the Disney parks came from Walt Disney, but the inventor of the exact idea for Disneyland Paris was based on that idea and was a group effort by people in the Disney company. It was built by Walt Disney Imagineering.
The Disneyland Paris Resort contains two theme parks: Disneyland Paris Park and Walt Disney Studios Park.

Disneyland Paris Park is larger, occupying 140 acres to Tokyo Disneyland's 126 acres. Disneyland Paris Resort is 4800 acres compared to Tokyo Disney Resort's 494 acres. Although Disneyland Tokyo is soon celebrating their 30th anniversary, while Paris is celebrating it's 20th.
