Zuko asked his father where his mother was in the last episode because he doesn't believe that his mother is dead and that his father is hiding something about her. Zuko's mother used to care about him more then Azula and she just vanished over night without saying bye or anything. Also he hasn't seen his mother since he was a little boy, and wanted to the truth and now feels confident to ask his father now that he is Emperor.

You never know in the last episode Zuko goes to ask his father where his mother is and they cut it there this is exactly why they should make a book 4
In the cartoon the time i see toph and zuko alone is in the last episode
Episode 207, Zuko Alone. (By 207, I mean season two, episode 7).
Episode 27/61
I know right!!! It never actually tells you which is really sad but at the same time it's nice to have some mystery left. In the last episode, Sozin's Comet, at the very end you see Zuko asking his father but it doesn't actually tell you, I guess Zuko never finds out either. Zuko became Fire Lord so he had the power. He was very strong-willed and would find out before the final scene.

no, Zuko never found his mother, but the writers from Avatar: The Last Airbender are making another Avatar series called Avatar: The Legend Of Korra which takes place 70-75 years after Aang. maybe on the first episode they will show Zuko finding his mother, but I'm not all that sure

The episode where Aang attends a Fire Nation school is "The Headband" from Book 3: Fire. It is Episode 42.

The episode is called "Zuko Alone." The title is pretty much self-explanatory. This is the only episode in which Aang does not appear in. It's all about Zuko.
Sadly no...
No.
Zuko's wife is Mae.Remember in the last episode of The Last Airbender Zuko married Mae.So those of you who think Toph married Zuko or Katara married Zuko are wrong, just not thinking, or are KRAZY
You never find out. It shows Zuko asking his father but we're never told the answer, which is really sad but also nice because it's never good to know everything.
