In 2006, Travis Barker (Drummer) was severely injured in a plane crash. Mark Hoppus (Bass Guitarist/Vocals) and Tom DeLonge (Guitarist/Vocals) visited him. It was the first time all three members had been in the same room for over a year. They started talking about their lives and music and started playing music together again. They missed making music together and that's why they've reunited.
