It is hard to understand how one man could invoke such wrath, especially one as holy as Jesus was. But Jesus was politically incorrect at a time when such a stance could get a person crucified.
At a more basic level, Jesus was the embodiment of the good and righteous in a world that was and is dominated by Satan. Never underestimate the power that the devil holds on this world we live in.
The Bible tells us that Satan rules the earth. He understands how the human mind works and knows our every weakness. Jesus knew this, and was able to withstand The Temptations that Satan put before Him. So Satan had to work on those humans that were vulerable to his influence. This is how the devil was able to manipulate those in power, those being the Jewish leaders in the church at the time. They used the Roman 'arm of the law' to eliminate Jesus from the world.
Jesus was hated by many because he claimed himself( they really claimed him) the King of the Jews.
Is he hated?
I don't think people really hate him, many who know of him just ignore his teachings and/or his followers.
because he is to true to shun. so they just deny the fact that he is real and they go with it
people also believed that he practiced blasphemy
Jesus knew that because people hated Him and His teachings, persecution and and other forms of hatred would always be directed towards those who follow Him.
The pharasees and other people hated Jesus because they think that He's spreading rumours that He is the Son of God. They also hated Him because many people followed Him and not the pharasees.
Who hated Jesus when he was alive? Almost everybody! The elders, the kings, the people in the synagogue, the people who did not believe in him, the world hated him for who he is. I'm happy that I live today and that I love Jesus.
When Jesus was born there wasn't an emperor, there was a king, and his name was Herod. He hated Jesus because he thought Jesus had come to steal his throne.
The pharisees weren't real christians. They were just pretending. Jesus saw through their deciet and called them out on it. Therfore the pharisees hated Jesus. the disciples were Jesus's close followers so they hated them too. Hope this helps!
Yes he did but when he dies he hated him then when he rose he loved him
They hated him because He pulled the crown from them. They thought Jesus was en earthly king.
There was no real reason for hanging Him on the cross, they just hated Jesus and to 'justify' this, they accused Him of blasphemy.
There were those who hated Jesus and were glad of His death, others, such as His closest followers were devastated by His demise.
