Because the people of Israel insisted on disobeying God and His Messenger Mosses, at the end of their exodus journey near Jerusalem God ordained them to enter the City and defeat the Giants .. but their faith was as feeble as their will and they refused to Enter the city and fight the Giants ..and so Mosses asked God to separate between him and them ..God answered Mosses and told him that the Jews will be dispersed over the land as a punishment for their disobedience.
