depending on the year, mine is 2005, the fuse could be blown, located in power box under hood, usually marked as " power sliding door, even if you don't have that option. Fuse is 40 amps. If that doesn't solve your problem, try disconnecting your battery and letting it sit for about 15 minutes. Reconnect your battery and try your locks, if they work, then there is most likely a soft ware glitch, that your dealer can download to your vehicle.I just had mine done, and it was covered under warranty.Check with your dealer about cost etc, if yours isn;t under warranty. There is technical service bulletin # 08-028-05, that covers this problem on 2005 caravans, but it could also apply to other years. Good Luck.
Check the fuse and relay.
The power door locks on a Dodge Caravan can stop working if the fuse is bad. Check the power door lock relay fuse that is located in the engine compartment on most Dodge Caravans. It should be next to the battery.
Start with checking for blown fuses.
doors locks & trunk lock not working
You have a broken wire in the harness that runs to the drivers door. Look near the hinges for the door, the problem will be in that harness.
Check the fuses.
Fuse number 23 in the passenger compartment box is blown. It caused the following devices to stop working: Door lock switches (but not the locks), Interior lights, radio lights, A/C climate control, overhead console quit.
The fuse for the power door locks is labeled courtesy or "crtsy". The only way that the power door locks would stop working altogether (no switch will trigger any door lock) is by blowing a fuse or possibly cutting a main wire to the door lock system. If somebody has worked on your electrical system or if you have had a car stereo or alarm system installed this would be a lickely scenario.
The drivers door window switch is the master; all power runs thru it first. check the breaker if that is good, I would pull the switch at the drivers door and test both sides of ot; it may just be a loose connection. Power locks are a unrelated/seperate circuit.
burnt fuses
The power door locks and the radio in a 2000 Dodge Stratus SE may stop working at the same time because of a blown fuse. Another issue may be faulty wiring causing a problem for one or both of the issues. Both of these problems can be fixed by taking the vehicle to an automotive garage or shop to be fixed by someone who has experience in these vehicles.
I had all four of my door locks stop working. I was told it was the actuators and for $250.00 per actuator (my only local Ford dealership) I could have them fixed. Back to manual for me.
