It was originally called armistice day
It is important to remember dead people on rembrance day cause they died fighting for us and we should rember them it is also my grandparents anniversary
It is a major attraction, as is the Palace of Westminster (Houses of Parliament) where it is found. The chimes of Big Ben are still the symbol of accurate timekeeping to British people and are used, for example, to start the two minutes silence on Rembrance Day.
In the runup to Rembrance Day, 11th November, we wear poppies to represent the fact that after World War One, the only thing that grew in the war fields was poppies.
You start counting on the first day of your period.
July starts on the 1st day of the month.
11 Nov was the day on which the armistice (ceasefire) was signed in World War One. if you have watched the news or read a newspaper recently, you will have seen reports of Poppy Day, Rembrance and so on. It is a major celebration in several European countries and in America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. It remembers the approx 20 million soldiers the died in World War One
Indeed, as is the start of the night the end of the day ;-)
