Silly Bandz are so popular because in 2005 kids started to wear then but they were definitely not popular then, but now I got to say its extremely popular and but the time you blink everywhere in the world people are buying them, they came out with some designs like fruit, clothes ,cars , letters, animals, princesses, back to school, glow in the dark scented, tie dye, celebrities... etc.
I actually disagree with the top answer because they weren't even made in 2005 first off, I do however agree with the shapes. They are just colorful rubber bands that keep their shape. Kids like to buy them because they are an ultimate fashion crave. They are popular because they are sold in every store! Some stores don't have them, but the majority of them do have them.
