The Ancient Egyptians removed all the organs from the body because they thought that it "weighed" the body down from coming into the 'afterlife'. Instead the ancient would put each organ (exept the heart) into a special mini coffin & put the organs inside the mummies coffin.
I hope this helped?!
They did this because the Egyptians believed that it weighed the dead body down, so the person could not go up to the stars and start their afterlife. They also took out the brain because they thought the snot was from the brain. Another reason is that they thought the brain was useless. Incidentally, the left the heart in because the thought that the heart was where thinking and everything came from, and the mummy would need it in the afterlife. Once the mummy got through the underworld, its heart would be weighed against a feather, to symbolize truth.
They believed in order to enter the afterlife they weigh the heart and if it is heavy that means they tricked or lied alot and the Ammut would eat the person's soul and if it was light the person may enter the afterlife
The Ancient Egyptians believed that the organs would reunite in the afterlife, such as what happened to Osiris, the god of the underworld.

In the process of mummification, all the organs are removed except for the heart. This even included the brain, which they removed via the nose, because they felt it was not important. The heart, however, was believed the center for a person's existence which is why they left it in.

Presuming you are talking about the modern world, no. In fact, as a rule no organs are removed from the body, unless you consider the blood an organ. All or most of the blood is removed. If there is an autopsy before embalming, then any number of organs might be removed depending on the pathologist's needs.
large and small intestines
All Organs were removed and put into special jars, the brain however was removed through the nose using a long hook tool and discarded as it was seen as useless. Also fun fact, the people who performed the mummification were killed shortly after its completion due to cutting open a body being considered vile.... What a job!
If the stones are blocking important and vital organs then yes they will need to be removed. If not its still a good idea to get them removed because you never know when they will start blocking vital organs.
The pancreas and duodenum (part of the small intestine) are removed.
the liver and bladder were removed because they didnt need them to stay alive
All the organs were removed and, as the brain had no spiritual value, it was discarded. Organs such as the heart and liver were kept in small jars. Actaully, i thought that the brain was removed because it would rot the rest of the skeleton
