In the book, Animal Farm, Boxer represents the working class in a normal society. He is always working hard and long hours to make life easier for the rest of the farm. When he dies and it taken to the glue factory, it symbolizes that the working class are disposable. They can be easily replaced and each individual is not important. They are only important as a whole group.
