Oh yes, there are a number of totalitarian governments in existence today. The most totalitarian government is that of North Korea, but there are lots of others. China is another very significant example. Burma/Myanmar has a very unpleasant totalitarian government. Iran has a totalitarian theocracy.
Totalitarian governments are characterized by a single ruling party or leader who exercises absolute power and control over all aspects of society. They often suppress individual freedoms, limit opposition, and use propaganda and surveillance to maintain their authority. Totalitarian regimes typically emphasize the importance of the state over the individual and seek to shape public opinion to align with their ideology.

Any who are not ruled by a democratic form of government. This would include any nations under a Communist regime (e.g.: People's Republic of China, North Korea, etc), as well as certain so-called monarchies (e.g.: Saudi Arabia, etc.) If you wish a complete list of all non-totalitarian nations in the world you will have to do your own research.
Well, sometimes history can stop history from being repeated as the people involved can see the consequences from it. An example of this is World War 2; people saw that they gave Hitler too much power and so from then on started wanting to restrict governments in some way. Though there was still totalitarian governments, governments wanted to help the independence of other countries. Also, they wanted there not to be any more antisemitism and no more war and so created the United Nations, which worked and still works better to prevent was than the League of Nations did and they let the Jews have Israel though that did have consequences as well.
A totalitarian government has complete control over its people.
