A militia of Hutus began going out each day and massacring hundreds of Hutus, even their own neighbors and wives. A rebel army of Tutsis was fighting the Hutu army to try to stop them. Finally the Tutsis won, but an unbelievable number of Tutsis had died.I would suggest looking it up on wikipedia for more information.
