There is an immediate stigma that society in this century places on men and women that still live at home in their 30's and above. There are various reasons, and it's important to not assume it's because of the worst or because you had a bad experience with dating one. They could've been a famous investor with houses on every coast and still given you trouble. The first stigma society has is that those living at home are still attached to their parents and would feel insecure and uncomfortable being out on their own. Or maybe they're just sponging of their folks to save money or to just sponge period. Or perhaps they're too lazy to find a place of their own. However, none of those are entirely true, but an assumption for whatever reason, their imagination. It's not uncommon, especially in this decade long flailing economy for this current generation and coming to be living at home. Homes and the cost of living continues to increase, while the job market and pay either dwindles or stays the same. Thus making it impossible to have their own places. Some are caring for an ill or disabled parent. Others hit financial trouble and are only at home temporarily. Then there are those in traditional families where that isn't seen as un-normal just because it's not "culturally" normal.
