Because you have to admit it is a bit hard not to sin but each time we must try harder not to do that sin again. Why? Are you Catholic?

Roman Catholic AnswerYou are really asking two questions, why do Catholics confess their sins, and why do they still sin. They confess their sins because they are sinners. The Bible explains that even the just man falls seven times a day! The only people who do not sin are either perfect, like Jesus Christ, or His Blessed Mother, or they are dead and in heaven.

Why do they commit more sins even after confessing? Because they are still alive, and are still human. The fact that we are still human is no reason to give up. You are still going to end up committing sin, even if they are inadvertent (not intentional), but, hopefully, with God's grace through the Sacrament of Confession, you are getting better, you are no longer committing grave sins and you are growing in the life of Christ and growing closer to Christ, so that you may eventually enter heaven.

To not be growing is to be going back, you can not stay where you are. If you try to do that, you end up in hell, so you pick yourself up, go to confession again, and again. Frequent confession and frequent reception of Holy Communion are the only normal way to put sin behind you and become what God made you to be.

What acts say you are sorry for your sins?

I believe confessing one's sins is a way saying that you are sorry for sins you committed. Protestants repent their sins out loud, and Catholics confess to a priest in confessional. ____ If you have caused hurt to another person, apologizing to them in person is also important, and also making a real effort not to commit the same kind of sin again. This can be difficult but it means a lot and shows that you are sorry.

What is a sin for Catholics?

Catholics view sin as an act that God finds offensive. Catholics believe there are two types of sin, venial and mortal. Whereas a mortal sin takes a person out of God's graces, a venial sin does not. Catholics believe that all sins can be forgiven by God; no sin is too big for God to forgive.

The Catholic Church agrees with the commandment "Thou shalt not commit adultery." It is a serious sin that separates us from God and, until forgiveness is obtained, keeps us away from the sacraments.

How do you repeant from sin?

How do you repent from sin? Ask God for forgiveness and guidance in repenting as well as the gift of the Holy Spirit but not before you confess your sin to the LORD. Have faith when praying to God. Try to avoid people, places, and situations wherein you tend to commit said sin so often. Do good deeds. Keep and obey the commandments of God.

Beliefs on sin and salvation Lutheranism?

In Lutheranism, sin is seen as the disobedience to God and separation from Him, affecting every individual. Salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not through good works or personal efforts. Lutherans believe that through God’s grace and Jesus' sacrifice, individuals are redeemed and brought back into a right relationship with God.
