Well different TV shows do this for different reasons depending on what type of show and so on.
Most of the time they do this to remind viewers of what happened in the previous episode in case you've forgotten or if the last episode was quite a long time ago. Usually it will show the main points like someone dying or a key event in the plot line as to draw you in once again. It is also done to give a brief description of the last episode to people who didn't see the previous episode so that they have some idea of what is going on in the episode they are watching. Those are the main few reasons why recaps are shown but there are other reasons.
For instance, some shows use recaps to give a clue of the upcoming episode by showing you clips from an episode shown long before. Other shows do just because they feel that people need it or just for the hell of it, I guess we'll never know. :)
Theoretically, people forget what happened in the previous episode. I think that recaps fill time and reduce the amount of new material that needs to be provided.
As I've seen, 30. Episode 30 is SO good. theres 30 episodes, but four of them are recaps which they didnt show on tv. i think the recaps are episodes 15, 16, 17, and 18, but im not 100% sure. episode 30 is awesome sad and confusingSadly, only 30

The Wheel of Fortune older programs are owned by the Game Show Network. I do not know if they will ever show the February 1996 Sweethearts week again. They are not showing any of the older episodes right now. The Wheel of Fortune shows only episodes from the previous season when they repeat episodes on weekends. The summer encore episodes come from earlier current season episodes.

Unfortunately, I do not have information about specific episodes or songs played on the TV show "The Game." It is advisable to check the show's soundtrack or search for specific episode recaps to find the name of the song playing during Malik's arrest scene.
