It's made by the wind people that live in the clouds and make wind so that people can fly planes. Without the wind people, we would have no way to fly.
Planes fly better in warm weather because if it is cold then fog builds up and they want be able to see also the wind will be pushing them back so its better to fly in warm air.
Cold air is dense and Warm air is less dense. Thus if the land is warm it heats the air above it and this air rises (like a helium balloon) because it is less dense. This means that air has got to flow in to replace it. Therefore wind bows in towards land areas that are warm.
1. Hotter air goes up (examples: hot steam, flame, etc), cooler air stays down (mist, etc) and replaces the air that went up: the horizontal moving of the air thus formed is the wind. 2. Land heats up & cools down faster than the sea (that's why sea appears to be "warm" at night). --------------------------------------------------------------------------- So: at night, the land cools down, the sea stays warm, so the lower air from land replaces the air that lifts above the sea - wind blows from land towards the sea. At daytime, land heats up more than the sea, land air goes up, sea air replaces it - the wind blows from sea towards land.
It is called wind.
Its important for the pilots in air planes and the designers of air planes. Please recommend me!
They can, yes. It's a bit safer to land in the wind than landing with a tail-wind. A pilot can also land an airplane with a cross-wind.
Ideally, you should always land an aeroplane into the wind because it reduces your speed relative to the ground. Note that this is not the same as airspeed.
No because the air around the plane has pressure. If two planes take off at the same time the planes will crash. The planes might crash if they land at the same time.
They are able to see where all the planes are. They can guide the pilots of the planes and tell them where to land and when to. They can tell them when the air is really busy, and when there is no one in the air.
the battle of midway was fought by mainly air, partly sea, and no land. The US had planes station on Midway, but no actual fighting took place on land. It was mainly a battle of air craft carrier based air planes bombing the enemies ships.
It is used for air transport. Planes take off and land there.

There were land-based air force planes at an airport nearby, but most of the planes were on aircraft carriers that were at sea during the invasion, and were untouched.

Wind is caused by a variety of factors, some of which are: Changes in air temperature, Changes in the altitude of the land beneath bodies of air, The turning of the earth, and the friction this causes between the land and the air.
Prestwick Airport tends to have a lot of different kinds of air traffic land at their strip. They have had fighter planes (CF-18 fighters), a CC150 Fuel Tanker, and more planes from around the world.
