How saxophone is play?

A saxophone is an musical instrument that is played by blowing through a mouthpiece (usually made of plastic or hard rubber, some are made of metal for a different sound) that has a thin piece of wood on it called a reed. When you blow air, the reed vibrates and produces a sound. The thickness of the reed varies. The thicker the reed it, the harder it is to make it vibrate. A saxophone has many keys that you press down or lift up do produce different notes. This is how it makes sound, but there really is no way to tell you how to PLAY a saxophone and make music, for it takes lots of practice and there are many techniques and skills that are helpful/required.

How does saxophone works?

By moving a series of keys in a desired order and blowing into the Saxophone by the reed, you can make sound. The buttons are pressed in a sequence in order to make different notes to make a note seem either flat (b) or sharp (#) A saxophone has a mouthpiece to which a reed is attached. When the player blows the reed vibrates creating a tone. The player changes the tone by pressing the keys, which open and close tone holes. When upper tone holes are open, much of the sound goes through them creating a shorter pipe and in turn a higher pitch. As lower holes are closed the sound is lower and a higher percentage of it comes out of the bell.
