it is just the way they are born if your guinea pig get's anoyed by the toe take it to the vets to get it tied or cut of DO NOT give it an injection because it may couse Paine to the guinea pig
your guinea pig should only have three toes on the back. the extra toe is on the front. and if one of it's toes turned black i would get it to a vet to be checked.
Not normally unless they have a disease on there feet in which a vet/doctor has to remove it. Guinea pigs can 'chip' there toe nails as a human does but it eventually grows back. hope this helped!
No. 3 toes on the back feet, 4 on the front.
you van tell by the toe nails if they are thich and long an adult if they are thin and short a baby you can tell if the toenails are short and thin it is a baby
"I was born with an extra toe on my left foot."
First toe (Big toe) Second toe (Index toe) Third toe (Middle toe) Fourth toe (Fore toe) Fifth toe (Baby toe)
yes you do have to trim your guinea pig's toenails. BE CAREFUL because there is this thing called a quick near the base of the toenail , so if your a little nervous about this ask your vet to do it for you or ask hi to show you how to do it.
Hallux (big toe) Second toes (long toe) Third toe (middle toe) Fourth toe (ring toe) Fifth Toe (pinky toe, baby toe, or little toe)

It means that they have an extra toe!
Pure bred birds do not.
Don't use wheels! It will damage your guinea pigs spine and this can lead to death. Instead, when it is warm outside, put your guinea pig on the ground and put it in something like an outdoor rabbit pen. Make sure that the ground isn't covered by something so that you don't have to clean the poop off of it. They will love this because they also can eat the grass. An upside down cage (without top) or an upside-down laundry basket work well too.
