Cheetahs use these tear lines to block the sun out of their eyes. Just like football player when they put the black make up on to get the glaring of the sun out of harms way. So cheetahs use these tear lines to walk around for new territory or hunting with running. That's why the cheetahs have tear lines
One way you can tell a cheetah from other spotted cats is by the dark lines that run from its eyes to its mouth. These lines are called "tear lines". These dark areas may help to protect the cheetah's eyes from the glare of the sun. Have you seen a football player have black lines under there eyes when they play? They protect their eyes just like the cheetah does.

Cheetahs have it so when a enemy or a lion try to attack they'll get confused and probably think it's an honey badger. That way they'll be safe.

They may be serving as a shield for the eyes against the sun's glare, a helpful feature as the cheetah hunts mainly during the day; another purpose could be to define facial expressions.

What is the difference between cheetah and leopard - photos?

The difference between a cheetah and a leopard are that the cheetahs have bold black tear marks down their face and leopards don't. There is an old story that a mother cheetah once lost her cub and she cried for a long time and left black tear marks down her face, forever. The cheetahs spots are different to a leopards because the leopards spots are more of a broken circle but the cheetahs spots are just a normal black dot. I hope that answered your question (:

Why are cheetah's eyes black?

The so-called 'tear marks' on a cheetah's face are designed to absorb sunlight and thus prevent glare from impairing the cheetah's eyesight, even when the sun is bright. If cheetah's did not have 'tear marks,' the yellow fur on their faces would reflect much more light into their eyes and make it more difficult to see when there was a lot of sunlight.

Can scuff and puncture marks from a refrigerator be considered wear and tear?

It depends on how the puncture marks and scuffs were inflicted, and how old the refrigerator is. If you're a wheelchair or power chair user like I am, and the refrigerator is at least a year old, then it probably is normal wear and tear. See if you can remove the scuff marks, however.
