They stayed in a manor house in the country side
Yes, all children in war are affected. In World War 2 it was a really big problem for the kids because they had war going on all round them while the Allied Forces carpet bombed European nations. The kids in England had to be removed from their parents who could not go with their children to evacuation sites in the countryside. The kids missed their families and had to adjust to a way of life they knew nothing of and people they did not understand. They did not get to go home until the end of the war. Children lost their fathers, brothers, uncles, cousins and even some lost their mothers if they were nurses on the war front.
Loads of children died Over 10000!!
some lied about there age and fought in war and also children didnt really fight in war or do any thing some children thought it was going to be fun thats why they joined
Children would leave their homes and would be evacuated to somewhere safe like the countryside. Some of the mothers would be evacuated as well, some of them would even go to war to fight, but most of them stayed at their homes in the city, possibly facing their death. Children would go with their schools to the train stations and families from the countryside or any other safe area would come and choose the children they would like to come with them. The children would have to be well behaved and clean to get chosen.
Nobody should fight in a war. Wars serve the interests of the rulers.
