Women basically are more romanticists then men (there are a very few men that are and continue to be so.) We put our heart on our sleeves, we give without expecting something back and we just love. Some men can go through life like they are strolling through a candy factory. They love women! After all, there are 3 times more women in the world than men and it's rising. Not all men want their cake and eat it too. There are some good guys out there that believe in strong relationships and bonding with their mate, so don't judge all men by a few that want their cake and eat it too! Sometimes in a relationship the romance may dwindle a little (your mate forgetting a birthday, anniversary, etc.) but it doesn't mean he doesn't love you.

Those who behave that way don’t want a real relationship. Maybe they want to be married, but only for the convenience of having someone to cook and clean and rear the kids. Marriage also makes men appear stable even if they aren’t. Then they can go paint the spouse as unstable or somehow deficient in order to gain sympathy and get women YK believe they are “getting a divorce “ or are separated when they are still wearing the socks wifey washed and eating her cooking, even exposing her to STIs. They can have a warm body beside them at night and still get extra kicks on the side.

This is true whether wifey is a stay at home wife and mom or is a work outside the house wife and mom.

It’s not like they usually take up with someone hotter than their wife. Maybe someone younger if they are older and wealthy. Amazing how older , not good looking men can get a woman ( often a divorced or single younger one looking for a sugar daddy; he doesn’t have to be super rich, just has to spend the money to wine and dine and such ). They believe they are the only one. Lol.

These guys have multiple side pieces.

Is this correct 'You can't eat your cake and have it too'?

It means you must make a choice, even if it is difficult. Say you've been served a piece of your favorite food. You can keep it, stare at it, put it in the freezer, whatever--or you can eat it. But once you've eaten it, you can't keep it anymore--it's gone. But if you keep it, you can't eat it. Assuming she's not talking about actual food, she's asking you to give up something. For example, I can't have an exclusive relationship with my wife and date someone on the weekends.

Can you have your cake and eat it too?

It depends on what type of cake, where you got it, was it meant for you? Would someone else benefit from eating the cake? If you find yourself having your cake and eating it too, you may be taking advantage of someone else, this can have negative consequences for you in the future. The only way to have your cake and eat it too is to share some of it with whom ever is relevant to the cake. That way they get cake and you have obtained your objective without taking advantage or being selfish. D.J. Newville
