At high altitudes, the atmospheric pressure is low, and as altitude increases pressure decreases. So if the pressure of atmosphere changes suddenly, the blood vessels on our body will burst due to pressure of the blood and other fluids inside.

Well, you may blame the dry air of the mountains and the windy air.
Dry and windy air will constantly dry out the inner tissues of your nose.
This may form crusting, and eventually, nosebleeds will start forming.

This forces the human body to work harder, just to expend equivalent energy. People that climb Mt. Everest often suffer from 'altitude sickness' due their lack of conditioning.
