It could be a couple things = weak connection in the wiring, bad wiring, shorting out, broken filament in the bulb flopping around, check the bulbs, if its both lights bogging out it has to be the wiring
loose bulbs
A loose or corroded ground wire can cause your 1995 Jeep headlights to blink on and off. Make sure the ground wire is tight and free of corrosion.
Turn the car off. push on the parking brake 1 or 2 clicks turn car on. the lights will not come on
directional arm
If a Ford Explorer headlights blink on and off after 10 minutes of driving, it is highly probable that there is a short bad overdrive pump. Rest the car and clean the grounds. Also check for loose or broken wires.

This Had happened to me... Try changing the dimmer switch... It cured my problem.
Have you figured out the answer yet? I'm having the same problem. Jeffrey Wright did you try to cut that security feature off? you can access it through your radio.
You will have to take the bolts off the old headlights and simply replace the old headlight and screw the bolts back in.
If the dome light will not shut off on a 2002 impala, check for a water leak in the roof that might interfere with the operation of the light. Also check for a bad connection with the ground wire or a short in the wires.
While the ignition is in the ON position, follow this sequence:Turn your headlights to the parking position and then OFF 3x's.
