I'm not an expert, but it would probably be because the two different electromagnetic fields from the magnets are not lining up. This would cause part of the attractive force to be canceled out, and for less paper clips to stick. It really depends on how you have the magnets put together.
because the paper clip hanging from the magnet gets magnetized as well and acts like a magnet
Paperclips can be held by a magnet but are not usually sold magnetized themselves.
Magnets will stick to iron paper clips, but not to plastic ones.
A magnetic force.
It is possible that one magnet is stronger than the other one. It would have to be about 4 times as strong to achieve this result.

refrigerator magnet, (paper clips+nails)

Magnetism is the act of magnets pulling objects. One example is holding a magnet up to paper clips. That is magnetism.
yes magets can attract iron paper clips

Yes.
well it depends. colorful paper clips won't attach to a magnet. just plain ones do.
yes because paper clips are made of metal
ya
Using magnets or a sieve?
