Also people use self mutilaton in different ways, from cutting the skin, excessive pulling of hair, and burning of skin. Self mutilation is a way of inflicting personal harm on the individual without supposdly affecting anyone else. The easiest way to describe and explain self mutilation is to discuss it with the specific individual due to the fact that different people have different reasons and different opinons.
