Why do people find prophetic people uncomfortable to be around?

I have never met a prophetic person, so I am in the fortunate position that I have not had to be uncomfortable around them. It may be that many people see through others who merely claim to be prophetic, but are too polite to point this out. They would feel uncomfortable trying to maintain a pretence of believing the "prophetic person" while inwardly wishing that person could just be honest. Thankyou for your answer.
