It helps protect against leakage and gives further security. I don't recommend tampons for the first couple periods, just give it time. Tampons are a scary thought, but millions of women use them daily and they work just fine.

How do you put a tampon in if you are a boy?

You can only use a tampon if you're menstruating - if you're a boy you may menstruate, but only if you have a uterus and vagina (e.g. if you're a trans boy). If you're a cis boy then there's absolutely no reason for you to be using tampons and nowhere for you to put a tampon as you don't have a vagina. So in short, if you are a boy you do not put a tampon in at all.

Do you put tampons in your body?

The tampon goes into the vagina - literally the hole is your vaginal opening. There is no other hole that a tampon can realistically go into, the vagina is also the place where the blood is coming out so no reason to put it anywhere else. If you don't understand basic female anatomy it is not a good idea for you to be using tampons, stick with pads for now and learn more.

What if the doctor did not find the lost tampon inside of you?

If the emergency room doctor did an effective speculum exam, then the doctor w2ould not be able to miss a tampon in your vagina. There is nowhere else a tampon can go; the vagina is a dead end. But removal of a lost tampon is not a reason for an emergency room visit. Next time, see your regular health care provider or your local family planning agency. They are better able to provide this kind of care. Routine GYN care is not what emergency rooms are for, and not their specialty.

How do you put tampon in anus?

I recommend you don't do that, and keep it for its original purpose - placing it in your vagina, to absorb period blood.

What happens if i forgot a tampon inside of me and put another one in but didn't realize it how would i get it out?

You would simply remove the tampon as you would normally. Your vagina is not a bottomless pit, the tampon can go no further than your vaginal canal. Just remove as you would normally and don't use another tampon for at LEAST 8 hours to allow your vagina time to clean itself.

How do you put a tanpon in?

1) Lean back a little. 2) Gently slide the tampon into the vagina, keeping it pointing toward your lower back. 3) When your fingers touch your vulva, press the plunger, pushing the tampon farther into the vagina. 4) Remove applicator and dispose of it.

What happens when a girl gets her period?

When a girl gets her period, blood comes from her vagina and she gets a bloated uterus, plus terrible cramps. When girls get their period, she must wear a tampon, or a pad. A pad is a liner that you put in your underwear. A tampon is something that a girl puts into her vagina.

Is it possible to poop out a tampon 2 days later after being lost in your vagina?

yes...This has happended to me a million times...It will come out the shiter don't worry...And don't go to the gyno they are all just a bunch of rapeists. NO it is NOT possible for a tampon to move from the vaginal wall to the intestine. Unless you put it there. People should NOT be giving that sort of answer. If you have a tampon in for more than several hours at a time between changes, you are at risk for TSS. READ the info that comes in the tampon box people! If you had a bowel movement and noticed the tampon in the toilet, chances are you just pushed too hard and it came out of the vagina. Seriously, look at a medical encyclopedia once in a while people. I can't believe some of the answers on here. @@

When you try to put the tampon in why does it slide back out?

Your vaginal canal is a muscular tube, when you tighten the vaginal muscles it can push things out of the vagina. Once inserted correctly those same vaginal muscles help keep the tampon in place.

How do you put a tampon in if you cannot see where your vagina is?

You need to position a mirror so you can see and feel yourself. Once you have sorted out your anatomy you can do it by touch alone. The vagina does not go straight up, it goes more up and back so you need to put in the tampon at an angle. If you don't have a female relative who you can ask to help go to the school nurse, she has been trained to answer questions like this.

What is the place called where you put your tampon when you have ur period?

A tampon goes into your vagina during menstruation - this is where blood comes from. If you don't know this basic information about your anatomy you should not use tampons. Use pads first and learn a little bit more about the basics of your own anatomy via research and exploring your genitals.
