Anorexia is a mental disorder where the subject refuses to eat because they are obsessively afraid of gaining weight. The subject views their body as over weight, even though they eventually are in the below weight category. Subjects need to participate in therapy, eating disorder awareness groups, and/or higher self-esteem practices.
