What are some benefits for being a pilot?

If you're asking why a person would want to fly, that's a question man has been asking himself since the dawn of time...to which there are no easy answers. If you're asking why a person would want to have a job as a pilot, that's easier to answer. Flying can be a very rewarding profession offering both good pay and good time off. It can also be a rewarding profession personally, in that in a very real, physical sense, it is one of the few remaining professions in which one is almost entirely in control of one's own destiny.

Well I personally want to become a pilot for a few reasons, it sounds a bit obsessive maybe but I like to win or be the best at the things I do and for me becoming a pilot means you have reached the very top, also just the freedom you have when flying, even if your on a military mission, and it's a very skilled job and I'd like to be able to do something that very few get to do, I hope that helps, the last answer didn't seem quite adequate but he was right about an interest in aircraft to

3. Being able to fly miles above the earth

I myself don't really want to be a pilot, but incidentally, pilots of a commercial nature usually have military backgrounds. They probably wanted to be commercial pilots to see the world, with free travel, no costs incurred that they themselves are actually responsible for :P

yes, it is . HOWEVER. it depends on the location you are, in upcoming markets like Asia, Russia and Africa. it is not too hard to get a job. in western markets there is an overflow of young pilots.

i would advise to check the local market, and choose a (secondary) study first before starting flight school.

without this the financial risks are significant.

A person may choose a career as a pilot because they like the aviation field. They also may want a future in the Air Force or working for an airline.
