The first part got removed, after I had answered this question, the author had it kind of in reverse, so that why I said, this.

Sorry, but thats kind of in reverse, plants do not absorb oxygen, they produce oxygen, we

breath the oxygen, we also produce carbon dioxide, which is what we ex-hale, and the plants, absorb the carbon dioxide, But yes, after all said and done, we depend on plants, for the oxygen they produce, especially trees , and the rain forests. So thank you God, for makeing a world that works, and thank you plants, for makeing oxygen.

Plants require oxygen for cellular respiration, a process that breaks down glucose to produce energy. While plants perform photosynthesis to create glucose and oxygen during the day, they still need to take in oxygen to generate the energy needed for growth, metabolism, and other physiological processes, particularly during the night when photosynthesis isn't occurring.

Why do plants need air?

Plants need air for respiration, a process where they take in oxygen to produce energy for growth and metabolism. Through respiration, plants break down sugars to release energy and carbon dioxide. Additionally, air is essential for the exchange of gases during photosynthesis, where plants convert carbon dioxide into oxygen using sunlight.

Plants take in carbon dioxide and release gas?

Oxygen

Why do the humans need oxygen?

Humans need oxygen to survive and think. If you dont have enoff oxygen for your brain it will stop working and you will eventually die.Humans also need oxygen sso that they can breath out carbon dioxide. If we didnt have oxygen we wouldnt have carbon dioxide.Carbon Dioxide is the thing that plants breath in.So if we didnt have oxygen plants would die.And then the animals that eat plants will die. Then the animals that eaet does animals will die.And we are omnivore(means we eat plants and animals)so if there were no plants and animals we will die of hunger That is why we need oxygen Patronum483 :)

What are the differences of human and plants exchange gases?

Plants give out oxygen, take in carbon dioxide while Human give out carbon dioxide and take in oxygen

Why do plants need oxygen?

Plants need oxygen for cellular respiration, a process where they break down glucose to produce energy. This energy is necessary for plant growth, development, and other metabolic processes. Additionally, oxygen is essential for the breakdown of certain molecules during photosynthesis, which helps plants produce their own food.

Why we need plants?

plants are in the same family as the tree.both take in carbon dioxide and give bak out oxygen, oxygen is the air that we need to breath.there are no plants on mars so there for there is no oxygen.that is why we need plants.to breath.

Why do you the world need plants?

Plants take in the CO2 we exhale and turn it into oxygen that we inhale. W/o plants, we would suffocate.

Why do you not take in all the oxygen in the air?

We need to share with other humans, plants, and animals.

What do plants give off that animals need?

In which way do all animals need plants need for survival?

All animals need plants for survival because plants make food and oxygen. we all need oxygen to breathe and the plants I'm sure you know take the carbon dioxide in the air and make it into oxygen. and as for food some animals eat leaves and plants also make food like berries that we and animals eat too. :)

Do green plants take in oxygen?

Yes, photosynthesis in plants releases Oxygen.

What is the Name the gas that plants need to take in from the air for photosynthesis?

Carbon DioxidePlants basically to the opposite of what we breath: they take in Carbon Dioxide and give off Oxygen. We take in Oxygen and give off Carbon Dioxide. This is why plants are so important to use because we need them to breath.

Where does exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide take place?

The exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide takes place in the alveoli of the lungs. Oxygen from the air we breathe diffuses into the bloodstream, while carbon dioxide from the bloodstream diffuses into the alveoli to be exhaled out of the body.

Why do you take care plants?

If we did not take care of plants the world would not be as beautiful and plants give us a little oxygen, and we need oxygen to life.
