Why we have zoos?

Somebody has to care for animals, don't you think? Every little ecosystem is depending on everyone of it's organisms and therefore when ever one spiece dies for extinction the whole ecosystem is in danger and may die as well.

E.g. if you kill all the rabbits and hares from the whole world lynxes and wolfs for example are going to starve and most of the population (hopefully not all) will die. This will of course affect all the way up in food web and as some people wants to put he thing people happen to be at the very top of the web and we are the one it is really going to hit.

Therefore the most important purpose of zoologist is to study animals and prevent this from ever happening in large scale. important because animals need us and we need them too

An zoo keeper needs to understand the behavior of an animal for when he or she goes to clean the animal out. They need to understand how to get the animals into a different part of the cage safely and what to do if the animal runs towards them angry at what they are trying to do. They also need to understand how to calm an animal down or make it move with out reacting violently towards them.

because it is believed that humans have evolved from animals. Therefore, it only makes sense that humans would have behaviours very close to that of the animals that are studied. This helps them deal with so-called humans in real life situations
