To get good grades you have to ... 1. Study for tests for about thirty minutes 2. Participate 3. Pay Attention 4. Behave 5. Flatter teachers 6. Hand in reports on time 7. come to school early 8. Do your homework 9. Ask questions (smart people ask questions) 10. Do more than other students even if they didn't say to because teachers love when students do extra work and they will reward you with a better grade.

∙ 8y agoIn addition to intelligence, there are many other factors. There are some very intelligent kids that do awful in school, and some that aren't quite the sharpest that excel.
Some reasons are:
- Support from home
- Quality of teachers
- Personal life
- Study habits
- Interest levels
- Peers
- Learning ability
There are many other factors as well. They can even work in combinations. For instance, a very smart kid can have great study habits, but their parents are going through a divorce. They might be too distracted to absorb what is going on.
