∙ 11y agoThe Crips & Bloods have been fighting for years, their rivalry goes back to the 1960's. The Crips gang was formed in the 1960's, and at the time they were the largest gang with the most power in Cali & they used to pick on smaller weaker gangs. Well then those smaller gangs banned together and formed the Bloods in the 1970's to combat against the already large Crips.
Nowdays the Crips & Bloods rivalry isn't as bad as it used to be, even though they still fight with one another it's simmered down quite a bit.

∙ 11y agoThe Bloods & The Crips not getting along dates back to the late 1960's. The Crips got their start before the Bloods in 1969 & although the Bloods gang didn't exist until 1972, there were smaller block gangs that the Crips used to fight with, because the Crips had more power and were more organized at the time, well eventually those smaller block gangs banned together and formed what is now known as the Bloods gang, to battle the Crips gang.
