∙ 14y agoVampires need to steal Life-Engery. Not all vampires drink blood. There is a wide variety of things that are vampire. It is just that the blood drinkers are better known. They steal Life-Energy by drinking blood. If they knew a better way I'm sure they would be happy to forgo the icky bloody part.
Many vampires do Drink blood, However some don't. Blood doesnt do anything to them. its quite addicting to people who claim to be Vampires.

Imagine, you were totally in love with coca cola, why would you drink another kind of coke?
The reason that vampires drink blood is -- that is how they steal life-force, that which sustains them. And worthy point --- not all vampires drink blood. Anything that steals life-force is a vampire regardless of how it does it. Its just that the blood suckers are more well known or even popular at the moment.
