Everyone is different and everyone's body responds differently to the changes brought on by puberty if the acne is really bothersome or unsightly go to a dermatologist and see what they can do for you if you are a young lady some forms of hormonal birth control can improve acne....hope this helps Good Luck and God Bless!!!

∙ 13y agoIt is the classic how long is a piece of string question I am sorry to say. No one can definitively say what causes acne so unless you can figure out how to disrupt the cycle you will find it can last for a long time or else go away and then return. Find a product that works for you- ask a dermatologist or doctor for advice on acne treatment your skin type and try to keep tour skin clean and healthy. A good diet with fresh fruit and veges always helps to keep you and your skin healthy. Also be happy and laugh a lot!
