∙ 10y agoWhen teenage boys hit puberty, their bodies start making hormones. Sometimes these hormones get out of control and just take over - and you get unwanted erections. Sometimes, you get an erection just from thinking about how much you don't want one! Thinking about anything sexual can give you an erection, but also seeing something sexy can give you one (like naked people in the gym locker room or shower, or a person in a skimpy outfit).
I think it's part of going thorugh puberty. Im having them all the time too when my mind is completely off sex. I wish it wouldn't happen because it's anoying trying to hide it and painful when im wearing jeans.

At this point in your life just the thought of a pretty girl can provoke an erection. With practice you can eventually learn to divert your attention and sort of control your erections a little better. Time will also help, as you get older you will mature sexually as well.
Yep sounds about right, that's why I always used to carry a newspaper around with me especially in the tight jeans days when I was 12.
