Rainforestes are are a peacefull place. A rainforest has trees, plants, waterfalls, animals and more. A rainforest can be find at many places. There are tropical rainforests were there are more of animals trees and plants. But all theses rainforests are being cutt down into acres (wich they are selling for $2.00 only! ) so there arnt much more left of them and its pretty sad how they are all going to go one day.
First of all, it depends on the elephant. Forest elephants have the forest for shelter, while savanna elephants do not. Elephants, in general, are large enough that they don't need protection from predators and therefore don't need shelter. They also don't need shelter for breeding, as baby elephants are plenty protected by large ones and capable of moving around on their own. Also, some animals need shelter to protect them from the natural elements. Elephants are build strong enough that that does not apply to them, so they don't really need any. In other words, elephants are designed so that they don't need shelter.
