With considerable difficulty. You need to split the engine from the gearbox and remove the clutch to get to it. This'll mean getting the engine out of the car.
most likely you need to replace te heater core.generally i if the leak is on engine you wont smell it in the car

Put the car on a lift, drop the motor/transaxle out of the car on an engine stand and break down the engine. You will need to separate the engine from the transaxle at this point.
