Your arm doesnt fall asleep that's just a silly way to say it, your arm needs blood to move. just like a few days ago my arm fell asleep cause i slept on it ( 7-5 hours straight) when i woke up my arm felt dead i tried moving my fingers but nothing, i tried moving my arm but i can just carry it along with me, my shoulder holding it up. it eventually "woke up" or i finally could move my fingers but not so easily then after atleast 1- 3 minutes my arm returned to normal. maybe you should try this, sleep on your arm when you wake up your arm should be asleep, if not then you move too much in your sleep, try another option, lay on your arm for atleast 10-20 minutes. if your patient. and get up your arm shouldn't be moving when you try to but yeah answering your question [ cause there isn't no blood circulation into it ] .
