Why does Firestar have to die?

All Clan cats have prejudice against kittypets. And besides, Firestar did beat Longtail in that first fight. But when Firestar became leader, Longtail gave up most of his hostility.

He's so generous and he thinks he can solve everything. I like him though because of his bravery and good fighting ability. A lot of cats don't like him, most notably Blackstar and Onestar.

Some people don't like him because he has been the main character in every book. Sometimes they get sick of having him around.

At first it was because he was a kittypet- then tigerstar attempted to kill bluestar to become deputy, but firestar (fireheart at the time) saved bluestar, as well as exposing the truth about tigerstar killing redtail, leading to tigerstar being exiled. at this point, his hatred for firestar is more than ever.
