Meggie has an appreciation/liking for a boy with the darkest eyes and longest eyelashes she's ever seen named Farid in Inkheart and their relationship grows deeper in the second book (Inkspell) and they share a kiss, however during the course of the third book (Inkdeath) the two draw apart and Meggie meets another, Doria.

This is a hard question to answer. I love Farid and i have to admit that i got upset when she regected him at the end of inkdeath. I dont think she likes him anymore just because of the clues givin at the very end. As she said, her heart only speeds up for one person now, Doria.

When Meggie was three, her father read inkheart to her and her mother, but Mo (her father) reads Teresa (her mother or known as Resa) was read into the book beause Mo has a power to read things into and out of books, so he reads Resa in and the bad guys out and then Resa is stuck in inkheart for around 9-ish years

Yes! Its actually quite sweet how they meet. In the first book in the Inkheart series meggie relizies that a 'Silver Tonge' like her father named Darias read her mother out of the book InkHeart that Mo accidently read her into.

In contrast to the book, the movie sort of leaves Farid as a bit of a loose end and doesn't explain his fate. However in Inkheart (the book) Farid ended up with Dustfinger who was too late to be read back into the book along with all the other characters. This opens the plot for Inkspell, as Dustfinger and Farid must find a new reader.

In the end, Farid does not end up with Meggie. Another character, Doria, is introduced whom Meggie actually ends up with.

Because she realizes that Farid will always care more for Dustfinger, and Doria is so kind, so sweet that she just doesn't notice the moment she stops loving Farid, and started loving Doria

When she goes into the ink world she is wearing a simple red dress that her mother made her. Afterwards though, i think she is wearing medieval clothes.

Is Inkheart a real book?

Yes, unique and very well written.Book description by Borders: "Description: One cruel night, Meggie's father reads aloud from a book called "Inkheart," and an evil ruler escapes the boundaries of fiction and lands in their living room. Suddenly, Meggie is smack in the middle of the kind of adventure she has only read about in books"vultrae:im only ten and i like it its so good! basta is so mean! One of the greatest books of all time(Except for Harry Potter.)Inkheart is a brilliant story filled with imagination an love. There are three books to the series, Inkheart, Inkspell, and Inkdeath. It is about a girl who lives with her father in a cluttered and unorganized household until they have to flee and head south from the evil Capricorn. Personally I think it's a little slow at the beginning, but it gets better towards the middle, so don't turn away from the book! :O-Misty Woods Library Reviews
