A better question is..."why do North Koreans love tyranny?".
The North Koreans arent too fond of Americans or South Koreans because of the Korean War.
North Korea has issues with the US. But the US does not hate Korea. The US has a strong and very old alliance with China that makes then stronger than Korea.
Technically, North Korea isn't our enemy... they just hate us, and the feeling is generally mutual. South Korea on the other hand, is our close ally. America and South Korea even conduct routine military training operations in South Korea.
Another answer:Well, today, November, 23, 2010, it just happened. North Korea attacked South Korea. We are allies with South Korea, BUT North Korea are allies with China, and they hate us. Where home is, war will be.
No. The US leads the world in enforcing sanctions against North Korea.
North Korea attacked South Korea.
No North Korea is a humanitarian nightmare.
Yes North Korea does not like the US mainly because of the country's involvement in the Korean War between North and South Korea.
Yes the US is known as the American Empire to North Korea.
The US is not permitted to patrol North Korea, nor do they. The US military does however have military bases in south Korea as part of a treaty to protect them against a possible attack by North Korea.
You have to understand all of Korean history to understand North Korea, but generally they want to reunite with the south. They still hate USA over the Korean war, and they just want them off the peninsula. Korea was a united, sovereign nation before WWII and North Korea wants to return to that again.
The US was part of a United Nations force fighting North Korea and its allies.
The United States is located in the Northern Hemisphere, while North Korea is also in the Northern Hemisphere. However, they are in different regions of the Northern Hemisphere - the United States is in North America, while North Korea is in Asia.
