check for vacuum leaks that wull usually cause this problem
You might need to change the fuel filter. Or you might need to replace the fuel pump.
Check your EGR valve Check EGR valve
new EGR valvie and it still stlls
Broken cable?
It sounds as if the fuel filter is clogged and not getting enough fuel to the injectors.
Check bulbs, fuses, and check for wiring problems
Try checking the fuel injectors
Symptom of bad fuel filter= stalling when slowing down to stop at lights or stop signs.
i had this same problem, it was the headlight switch, cost about 30 bucks in a 2002. it also messed with the navigation system
cruise control, even if yours does not have that option, they are put on everyone that leaves the factory.
Its not your bearings you idiot its your brakes. Take it in and have them replaced.
Is it blowing cold air only or not blowing any air at all.
it is more than likely the fuel evap system my 97 Chevy blazer studders when accelerating. With a full tank after it gets down past 3/4 of tank runs like a champ.
A loose electrical ground wire that moves the most when the vehicle is stopping. Or the engine could be reving too low to idle.
change ur rear differential gasket or ur transfer case is leaking
A good tune-up will probley do the trick.
the cruise control is broken....
This particular model and year had problems with the lock-up torque converter solenoid going bad. The engine will stall as soon as you stop or put it in gear. If this is what is happening, disconnect the solenoid until you can get it repaired. The engine will run at a slightly higher rpm and will use more fuel, but otherwise it will do no harm for the time being, until you can have it repaired.
because if you stop immediately then the car will stall.
torque converter is hangin up..
Probably a blown fuse. What you need to find out is why the fuse blew.
I would suspect the fuel pump is bad.
The blower resistor gets overheated and burns out usually because the blower motor is failing also.
Your engine needs a complete flush and new starter. I had the same problem with a similar type vehicle from the same year. I also suggest replacing all hoses and fluids with synthetics. It made my baby good as new.
My 1987 Chevy Celebrity with 2.8 V6 was doing the same thing. I cured the problem by replacing three dead fuel injectors.
