Acid rain corrodes a limestone building useful or harmful?

Why can't you place a rain gauge near a building?
You can place it on the roof, but not on the sides. Blowing wind can create a "rain shadow" on one side, with drops blocked as they fall. Alternately, projections from the building could funnel rain from a large wall area into the gauge.
How are Norway and Sweden tackling the effects of acid rain?
To understand acid deposition's causes and effects, and to track changes in the environment, scientists from EPA, state governments, and academia study acidification processes. They collect air and water samples and measure them for various characteristics such as pH and chemical composition, and research the effects of acid deposition on human-made materials such as marble and bronze. Finally, scientists work to understand the effects of sulfur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxides (NOx)-the pollutants that cause acid deposition and contribute to particulate matter -on human health. They also need to understand what changes could be made to the air pollution sources that cause the problem. The answers to these questions help leaders make better decisions about how to control air pollution and therefore, how to reduce-or even eliminate-acid rain. Because there are many solutions to the acid rain problem, leaders have a choice of which options or combination of options are best. If you are building a house with no roof you want to know if it is going to rain.
What are the problems building with limestone?
Since limestone is calcium carbonate, it is a soluble salt. meaning every time it would rain some of the building would dissolve.. there would just be too much wear to the building

WHY IS BECAUSE ,THE HUMAN POPULATION GROWTH ALOT ,AND FOR THIS WE NEED BETTER TECHNOLOGY EVERYDAY WE INCREASE OUR INDUSTRY TECHNOLOGY,AND MANY OF THEM,PRODUCES ALOT OF SMOKE THAT HAVE BAD EFFECT IN THE PLANET ,AND THESE SMOKE PRODUCE CARBON DIOXIDE ,THAT IS A BIG PART OF GLOBAL WARMING,AND THOSE SMOKE PRODUCE CLOUDS ,THAT WILL LATER CONDENSE and produce rain,aicd rain kill fish,destroy building,and in one word ,the effect of acid rain is,it's destroy the environment .
