Since God did not say that it was good (ki tov) on Monday, and said that it was good twice on Tuesday, it is considered that the first 'good' on Tuesday referred to His work completed on Monday.
Because God said that it was good twice on Tuesday, there arose a Jewish custom that Tuesday is an auspicious day for weddings. However, some people forget that the day begins at sunset the evening before (that is, Tuesday begins on Monday at sundown) and ends at sundown Tuesday. So the wedding has to take place before sundown Monday if you want to plan in accordance with that idea.
