the screw gauge is an instrument which is used to measure length of an object....
the least count of an screw gauge can be found as follow....
l.c= pitch of the screw gauge
no of divisions on main scale
If a feeler gauge won't fit between the valve adjustment and the screw is fully backed out, it's possible that the valve clearance is incorrect or there may be an issue with the valve train components. Try rotating the engine to a different position and rechecking the valve clearance. If the issue persists, it may require further inspection or adjustment by a qualified mechanic.
First, make a pilot hole in the drywall using a drill bit slightly smaller than the screw. Next, align the screw with the pilot hole and begin turning it clockwise with a screwdriver until it is secure but not over-tightened to avoid damaging the drywall.
A screw is similar to an inclined plane because it also converts a rotational force into linear motion. The inclined plane of the screw thread allows it to move through a material with less effort, making it an efficient way to drive into surfaces like wood or metal.
The Archimedean screw can be constructed using two simple ideas. The first is a screw, which in an inclined plane wrapped around a central core or axis. The second idea is to closely confine the screw by placing it inside a cylinder the length of the screw. One variation of the Screw is to coil a flexible tube around a core shaft. As the shaft is turned, the tube will work in the same way and lift the water up, with the problems caused by an actual Screw's operation. A picture is probably worth a thousand words at this point, so drop down below and find a link to an explanation of the device. It comes complete with an aplet showing the the machine in operation. Check out how it is set up and how it works.
The sizes of wire and sheet metal are not based on thickness or weight, but the number of times that the metal has to be drawn through the process to make it any given thickness. The higher the number the more often it has had to be drawn to make it thinner, so "1 gauge" is the original rod "10 gauge" is the same rod after being drawn 10 times. The sizes of plastics are measured using a micrometer, so the sizes are thicker 1 mil = 1/1000 inch = 25.4 micron = 100 gauge.
Gently screw the idle mixture screw all the way in. Bring the screw back one full turn. That SHOULD make things work UNLESS the jets are gummed up.

there is a little screw on the throttel cord and you unscrew it all the way out . there is a little screw on the throttle cord and unscrew the screw all the way out.
The best way to tighten a loose shower handle screw is to use a screwdriver to turn the screw clockwise until it is securely fastened.
GAUGE IN DASH OR ITS VOLTAGE REGULATOR IS BAD. WIRING OR CIRCUIT BOARD. UNIT IN TANK. FLOAT IN TANK HAS SUNK. dISCONNECT GAUGE AT TANK AND GROUND THE WIRE-THAT SHOULD CAUSE GAUGE TO GO TO FULL HOT. MOST CAR GAUGES WORK THE SAME WAY.
You turn the screw in to idol down
Many factors determine the value of a work of art. Size is a factor in price but there is no way to gauge it. Auction prices can be a gauge, but the art market is always changing. Consequently, it is not possible to assess the value of a work of art until it is up for sale or auction. Comparisons to similar works that have sold are the best way to determine an area of value.
Well, honey, a screw is called an inclined plane because it's basically a fancy version of one. See, a screw is just a spiral-shaped inclined plane wrapped around a cylinder. So next time you're twisting in a screw, just remember you're really just using a glorified ramp.
To attach a washer to a screw, place the washer on the screw before inserting the screw into the desired surface. Tighten the screw using a screwdriver or drill until the washer is securely in place.
You will need to swap out the entire gauge cluster. You cannot change just the temperature gauge. Remove the center Phillips-head screw under the windshield wiper switch & the center screw underneath the headlights switch. Tilt your wheel all the way down (if you have the tilt steering option). Firmly but gently grab the headlight and wiper switches, and pull toward you. The plastic piece around the gauge cluster should "pop" out. Once the plastic pulls free of the clips, disconnect the harnesses from the wiper and headlight switches. You will then find four small bolts holding the gauge cluster to the dash. Remove them. The gauge cluster will then pull out easily. The best way to find a replacement gauge cluster is in a junkyard. There are a lot of Berettas and Corsicas there nowadays. Note that the odometer is included in the gauge cluster, and it may be illegal to misrepresent the mileage of your car if you're planning on selling it. Try to find a cluster with similar miles. Note: Adding a few more miles is morally better than less miles. ;-)
Screw down = pressure up. Screw up = pressure down.
Yes, there are several methods to remove a stuck screw, such as using penetrating oil, heat, a screw extractor, or a drill.
