Why does my Vauxhall vivaro van alarm keeps going off?

It is possible that you could have something hanging like an air freshner and when a vehicle goes past, the slight movement rocks it and the sensors detect it.

Also another problem with the vivaro is the sliding door doesn't fit home correctly on the light switch (a small piece of sticky back foam is usually enough to extend the pin switch), obviously disconnecting for a split second will be detected by the alarm due to the voltage drop on the light.

Also if your battery is old or the connections on your battery are poor, this can also create a fault.

Try switching off all of your courtesy lights regardless of door condition and if it solves it, you know that it is one of the doors....in this state you would only have alarm protection in the cab from the sensors (only applies if back is separated for tool area) ie tools not protected
